CEO says VTB Bank to cut Ukrainian business to 1-2 offices by Jun
SOCHI, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s second biggest lender VTB Bank is closing its offices in Ukraine to keep only one of the two offices in Kiev by June, CEO Andrei Kostin told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi on Friday.
“We plan to wrap up operations completely by the summer to maintain just one or two offices in Kiev… We are cutting all branches toughly and repaying all deposits,” he said.
